"PUPA" iLight 2020

PUPA - The intricate cocoon is made up of a sphere of traditionally woven bamboo umbrellas that are slotted into place on a geodesic bamboo dome where each of them orientates at different angles towards the pulsating core which resembles a human fetus. Bamboo threads intertwine from the protective shell to unravel the glowing fetus in the center that casts a complex web of shadows on the ground.
